What is Targetware™?
Targetware is designed to enable our players to create the kind of game experiences they desire.
Targetware is...
- The Tools to Build multi-player games -- Targetware's entire system is designed to make it easy for enthusiasts to create their own content. From aircraft, vessels and vehicles to buildings and terrains to mobility models and virtual worlds, everything in the Targetware system is scripted using Lua. Did we forget something? You can create it and share it with your fellow players. Want to create a mod set in South America, the Middle East, Antarctica or an entirely new world? You can! Play on other people's servers, or run your own, with your own rules. The tools are in your hands.
- A Community of Enthusiasts -- Communication with your fellow Targetware players is an integral part of Targetware, and not just in the game. Your Targetware account allows to to contribute to this Wiki, our BBS system, and lets you chat in real time with other players. You can form Squadrons or clans, host fight nights, meet exciting new people and blow them away!
- Not Just One Game -- When you sign up with Targetware, you will get unlimited online access to all of the mods that are built for the Targetware environment! Several excellent mods were developed for Targetware 0.64 including Target Rabaul, air combat set in the Pacific Theatre of World War 2; Target Tobruk, featuring the North African air battles of the same war; and Richthofen's Skies, simulating WWI aerial combat over France.

What is Targetware 2?
Targetware 2 is our completely redesigned game platform. It is currently in alpha testing. Visit the Getting Started to find out more. When we refer to Targetware, we are taking about the newly released in alpha Targetware 2. Our older version Targetware 0.64 has been retired and can no longer be played online.
How can I become a Targetware player?

How much will Targetware cost?
We have not yet finalized the price of Targetware, but we know that there will be no limitation on hours. An active account will be required to play on any Targetware server. With your account activated, you can play any mods that players contribute to the community. You can play as much as you want and host your own MMP online games.
Is this game going to be a "pay per play"?
You will need to pay to activate your Targetware account, but you will not need to pay by the hour.
